Designed in response to the interior architecture, functional needs of use and material characteristics of White Oak, this bench was hand made by Matthias at his studio located in Rhode Island. The personality of the form alters from each perspective with the intention of drawing one to approach, to touch, and finally to sit. Using steam to bend the wood, each curve is bent with structure and beauty in mind.
