Torque 01, 02 & 03 are a series of works. Each is composed of an undulating line in a minimal configuration, creating a functional form. With mirroring sides that are by themselves imbalanced, the works’ structures rely on their interconnectedness. A twisting and binding force pulls the opposing sides together. The tension of the imbalanced halves are utilized for a system of balance for the whole. The flaw, reimagined, is essential to the solution.
