Each bird confronts its own reflection, distorted by the sphere's convex shape. In a nod to the myth of Narcissus, the artwork also explores the concepts of duality, encounter, and confrontation.
In addition to creating an effect of depth and distortion of reality, the sphere's mirrored surface reflects the surrounding architectural volumes and other nearby elements, creating new spaces.
